Contexte Un parcours artistique organisé chaque année par l’association B2X sur les prairies du Roy, entre Beaulieu et Loches.
Intervention Une installation réalisée avec notre ami et artiste mongol Amarsaikhan Namsraijav.
Un chariot nous rappelle l’usage de la traction animale, et fait lien entre l’histoire des prairies du Roy et notre époque. On imagine, hors périodes de crues des convois attelés de bœufs parcourir ces étendues. Il symbolise aussi le concept de nomadisme et d’itinérance, lien primordial entre les humains, qui perdure à travers l’histoire, sur toutes les régions du globe et à toutes les époques. À l’intérieur, une table et des bancs vous attendent pour vous reposer, manger votre pique-nique ou admirer la vue sur les prairies et la ville de Loches. Un chariot enfin pour nous faire rêver et nous « balancer doucement », comme dit la chanson : Swing low, sweet chariot…

Context An artistic trail organised every year by the B2X association on the Prairies du Roy, between Beaulieu and Loches.
Intervention An installation created with our Mongolian friend and artist Amarsaikhan Namsraijav.
A chariot reminds us of the use of animal traction, and provides a link between the history of the Prairies du Roy and our own times. It’s easy to imagine convoys of oxen travelling across these stretches of land, except during periods of high water. It also symbolises the concept of nomadism and itinerancy, a primordial link between human beings that has endured throughout history, in every region of the globe and in every era. Inside, you’ll find a table and benches where you can relax, eat your picnic or admire the view over the meadows and the town of Loches. Last but not least, there’s a trolley to keep us dreaming and « swinging gently », as the song goes: Swing low, sweet chariot…
